Why I walk...

When I first came out one of my best friends told me he was HIV+. He also told me how he dreamt about the day he was going to die from AIDS and AIDS related diseases. **I CRIED**

While the day has past, he's still doing well thanks to people like YOU! You made it possible to keep him alive. You made it possible for him to live a better life.

This is WHY I WALK.. I walk for him.

The AIDS Walk NY is an extremely important event. They Gay Mens Health Center uses this fundraiser to raise millions of dollars of funds it desperately needs. The funds are used throughout the tri-STATE region and help 50 other local AIDS service organizations. They have outreach, education, prevention and many other services.
